I enjoyed painting the hedgehog.  I have been struggling to find a really free way of painting wildlife.  Whilst the slavish copyingof creatures is somewhat satisfying, the camera is able to do a much better job that the artist.  The artist can only win if he reinterprets or captures the essence of a creature without copying exactly its every hair.

I will try the same technique on some more wildlife.
